Hope everyone is doing well and isn’t rekt! Zesty has been building amidst the chaos and gloom. Yes we’re alive and kicking.
Here’s some updates for the month of July!
Analytics Updates
After launching the beacon data analytics service we now have visibility on the growth of the Metaverse and WebXR segment. We are seeing new all time highs in visits and interactions. While small at the moment, we are still witnessing a 4% week over week growth.
We are seeing 172k unique visitors and 2.71M requests to Zesty’s resources in the past 30 days.
Internally, we are building data tooling to monitor the landscape and granular interactions of the various headsets we observe. Meta’s Quest 2 is an undisputed leader at the moment. Usage of WebXR and Metaverse experiences seem to be increasing steadily we will try to build additional tooling to capture more insights as to what is happening.
Zesty Shooter Project
This is the placeholder name for the world Zesty is building to capture users better. We are open to suggestions!
We started building out the game because we realized we’re directing people on headsets to the Dapp by default, and no one is converting. This is a bad sign. We believe users are looking for entertaining experiences that matter. The Dapp is pretty boring. Right now the WebXR scene is missing multiplayer experiences that make users want to go back, we believe that Zesty could kickstart a movement here. Right now we usually see about 10–70 concurrent users visiting the Dapp at any point in time and we would like to have those people meet one another through a free to play game on the web.
The game is still in development and we will be looking for more playtesters to play the game when it is ready.
UI-V2 Launch
UI V2 is live on https://appv2.zesty.market it is still in beta and fairly buggy. We are still in the midst of migration. We have introduced Cart Checkout Buy to make batch buying of spaces easier. Notifications is also available so users can know what transactions have been completed on the Dapp.
Things are still incomplete and we will be introducing:
- Mobile UI
- Price Recommendations
- Automation (auction creation, approval/rejections, expiration, bidding)
- Revenue Sharing
Zesty will eventually be a key user of the network with the shooter project, we will be budgeting some amount of USDC for the network to get traffic once we launch the game.
MetaArrow Partnership
Zesty will be partnering with MetaArrow to help provide our Data tooling and Distribution for their Metaverse Project when it is ready. Details are still to be finalized and we look forward to working with MetaArrow.
